Foreclosures in Town?

Can anyone speak to the issue of foreclosures in Kihei, Hawaii? Foreclosures are up around the country due to the sub-prime lending practices. Is there any foreclosure impact on real estate in Kihei?

I don’t know if anyone is reading this blog yet. Good place to start though. I currently handle Countrywide’s REO or bank owned properties that were acquired through foreclosure. Did you know that there are 71 foreclosures island wide going to auction or court within the next 30 days! Huge!! Guess what folks.. Rates are supposed to reset this month… Maybe some folks can hang on for a while but eventually the well dries up. It’s a horrible position to be in. I understand why folks just walk away. The financial burden is a killer. Especially here in Hawaii! If you you’re interested in foreclosures here on Maui, lets talk!
